Angler of the Year
Standings



The Angler of the Year is determined by a points system with teams earning points based on how they finish in each of the 10 regular monthly tournaments.50 points will be awarded to the first place finisher, 49 points to the second place finisher, and so on.Teams not fishing a tournament will be given 0 points. In case there is a tie after the 10 regular tournaments, the classic will be used as the tie breaker with the Angler of the Year title given to the team finishing highest in the classic.

At the end of the 10 regular tournaments, the team with the highest number of points will be declared Angler of the Year for that year and will be awarded $500.00 and a plaque stating:

Total Weight

Guidelines

  • Each team will fish together whenever possible.
  • Should a team member miss a tournament, the other member will fish for the team that day.
  • Should a team member miss a tournament, the other member may fish with a guest that day with their total weight being added to the team total.
  • Should, on occasion both members fish, but in different boats, then at sign up they will designate which member is fishing for the team.
  • Should, on occasion two club members from different teams fish together, their total will be divided in half with each team getting that amount of points.
